Celebrating 50 years of local broadcasting,  105.1 FM is Middle Tennessee's largest locally owned Radio Station serving listeners from Southern Kentucky to Northern Alabama.

 

WVRY signed on the air September 26, 1972 on 104.9 FM with 3,000 watts of power and has seen upgrades,  transitions,  format changes and different call signs throughout the years including stints of Top 40,  Rock,   Talk,   Classic Country,  Oldies and was even the flagship for the Solid Gospel (Singing News) Radio Network for several years.

 

Broadcasting 50,000 watts from McEwen, Tennessee giving the tower line of sight into 30 + counties throughout the region with an emphasis on Humphreys,  Dickson,  Houston,  Montgomery,  Hickman,  Benton,  Williamson,  Davidson,  Henry,  Decatur,  Cheatham,  Robertson,  Christian and Calloway Counties and can audibly be heard in Tennessee,  Kentucky,  Alabama,  Indiana,  Illinois and Missouri.
